Second Story Studio is in collaboration with Indiana University’s Kinsey Institute for an art exhibition highlighting LGBTQ+ voices and their work for a special exhibition and Pride event. Up to ten artists will be invited to tour the Kinsey Institute’s art archive and learn about the history of the Kinsey Institute. Artists will then create work inspired by their archive visit as well as their own personal experiences. Works will be shown alongside a special Kinsey archived show, for a dual exhibit highlighting the importance of Pride and the Kinsey Institute’s pivotal role in sexuality research and studies. Artists will be invited to the show opening pride event where their works will be available for public viewing and purchase.

TO APPLY

Fill out the online application form, before April 18th. Include 3-5 examples of your work and a little bit about yourself. Selections will be made by April 19th. Selected artists will then create 1-3 new pieces for the special exhibition.
